Network building

Collaboration

Fortunately, tuberculosis has become rare in Germany. However, the opportunity to gain extensive experience in dealing with the multifaceted challenges of tuberculosis therapy now exists only in treatment centers. Preparatory work for the No1Lost project has shown that exchange within networks is of crucial importance for care, as knowledge and experience can be shared in this way.

On the No1Lost internet platform, the existing regional and supraregional networks will be presented in order to create opportunities for participation. A guide for network development will support and promote the establishment of new regional networks. Best practice examples will show how functioning networks can be built locally and how they contribute to improving care.

Interactive map of MDR-TB coverage in Germany

According to the Infection Protection Act, the local health authority is responsible for the individual case management of each person with tuberculosis in coordination with the treating physicians.
This interactive map with an MDR-TB network of 60 clinics and the outpatient specialist contact points (ASV) for tuberculosis was developed to facilitate the search for specialized care providers for resistant tuberculosis. Please let us know if you have any additions or corrections.
