The overarching goal is to improve support services for people with tuberculosis. The treatment, which lasts at least six months, is lengthy and often associated with side effects. It frequently affects people in difficult life situations. Consequently, it is difficult to complete the treatment. Since interrupted tuberculosis treatment can lead to the development of resistance, relapses, and the further spread of the infection, “No1Lost” aims to support those affected until they successfully complete treatment and to break down barriers (social, legal, or linguistic). This will be achieved, on the one hand, through the development of practical tools and, on the other hand, through applied research into the causes of treatment discontinuation. The overarching goal is to enable everyone to complete a full and successful course of treatment and to lose no one along the way (No1Lost).
