What is the "No1Lost" project?
April 15, 2026

“No1Lost” is a collaborative project between Justus Liebig University, the CAPNETZ Foundation, and the German Central Committee against (DZK). Its aim is to investigate the causes of treatment discontinuation while simultaneously developing social and medical support options to help people with tuberculosis better adhere to the lengthy treatment regimen. The areas in which support options are to be developed include, for example, networking among healthcare providers, language and cultural mediation, and financing options for treatment in often difficult living conditions. At the same time, people with drug-resistant tuberculosis are participating in a Germany-wide cohort study that closely examines the living conditions of the participants to determine how treatment can be improved and discontinuation prevented.
