TBC - Fundamentals of Medical History Taking and Interactions with Patients
Every patient record has its own story to tell, and illnesses progress differently, presenting a challenge to those affected. When working with patients, we should always keep the bio-psycho-social model in mind and take into account all factors related to diversity and variety.
The event was intended to facilitate a discussion on the current TB situation in Germany and Europe and to address the typical characteristics of the disease, such as
- Update on the Diagnosis
- Side effects of the treatment
- Isolation and Stigmatization
- Psychological and social stress experienced by those affected
