DZK Tuberculosis Award

 

The German Central Committee against Tuberculosis (DZK e.V.) announces an award of 2,500 Euros for the best scientific or media work in the field of tuberculosis. The prize is awarded to publications that make a significant contribution to the understanding of the development or control of tuberculosis. Papers from the last two years that are submitted for publication ore have already been published can be submitted.

Who can be nominated: scientists, media professionals, journalists, teams of journalists, media offices, artists

Field: Tuberculosis

Medium: scientific publications; print, radio, TV, film and Internet with publication of the contributions, projects or artistic works in German or in another language relevant to the German-speaking world.

Topic: awards are given for outstanding work in the field of tuberculosis. The work should be characterized by a current topic and factual accuracy and must focus on the clinical picture of tuberculosis.

Prize: 2,500 €, certificate, presentation and announcement of the award at the “Tagung Tuberkulose aktuell, March 14th, 2024”

The DZK Tuberculosis Prize replaces the Franz Redeker Prize, which was previously awarded.
